MTF Biologics Joins Lineup at The Aesthetic Meeting 2019
World’s leading tissue bank will feature its extensive line of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery innovations at annual global gathering of aesthetic experts; Tissue Experience Station gives participants opportunity to feel and handle allografts
Edison, N.J. (May 16, 2019) – MTF Biologics, a leading nonprofit tissue bank dedicated to saving and healing lives, will showcase its cosmetic and reconstructive surgery portfolio at The Aesthetic Meeting 2019, held May 16 – 21, 2019 at the New Orleans Convention Center.
The nonprofit tissue bank will feature its collection of allograft and medical device solutions in diverse areas of plastic and reconstructive medicine, including cosmetic facial reconstruction, rhinoplasty, and fat harvesting and grafting. It also will offer conference participants a unique opportunity to see, touch and feel the innovative tissue grafts and products, and speak to surgeons who use them, at the exclusive Tissue Experience Station at the booth #845.

Innovative solutions MTF Biologics will highlight at The Aesthetic Meeting, include:
- Renuva®: An allograft adipose matrix that conveniently treats small volume soft tissue defects in the face, breast and body. An alternative to fat grafting, Renuva is made from donated human adipose, or fat. It is produced from the highest quality tissue and gives patients the same benefits as fat grafting without the need for liposuction. A natural injection that does not require general anesthesia, Renuva can be administered in a doctor's office.
Renuva will be presented by Dr. Haideh Hirmand at Hot Topics on Friday, May 17 at 1 p.m., and by Dr. Barbara Hayden on Sunday, May 19 at 10:30 a.m.
- Meso BioMatrix®: A strong, thin xenograft tissue form for plastic and reconstructive surgery that offers surgeons a new option for patients requiring soft tissue repair and/or reinforcement such as suture line reinforcement and muscle flap reinforcement.
- Profile®: A pre-shaped, costal cartilage allograft, Profile is used in rhinoplasty procedures. It allows surgeons to avoid having to perform additional surgery to obtain cartilage from a patient's ear or rib, leading to less post-operative pain and scarring. Because Profile is made from human tissue, it is natural to the patient's own body, which means fewer chances of infection or extrusion than synthetic implants.
Profile Costal Cartilage, Renuva and Meso Biomatrix will be featured in the Modern Techniques in Rhinoplasty Cadaver Workshop on Friday, May 17 at 2 p.m.
- LipoGrafter®: LipoGrafter is a practical fat grafting solution designed for better graft survival. The easy-to-use technology offers surgeons a safe and efficient way to harvest a patient's fat and deliver it in areas where the patient may require or seek additional volume.
